Bradigan translated from Irish Gaelic means “spirit”. Bradigan’s five members have varying music backgrounds and separately have been singing and playing Celtic music for years. Recently they combined their individual talents to bring traditional music of Ireland, England, Scotland and some American songs with a Celtic flavor to the Seacoast region of New Hampshire.

Picture of the Band

Bradigan on-stage at the Seacoast Irish Festival, June 12, 2010.
From left to rigth: Patrick Boyle, Tyler Foss, Kim Starling, Patricia O’Brien and Ben Baker.

Bradigan’s style of music is a mix of traditional and contemporary tunes, rebel anthems and drinking songs, with beautiful ballads thrown into the mix as well. This group delivers hauntingly beautiful songs with tight harmonies and lively arrangements which soon has audiences toe-tapping, hand-clapping and singing along. Spirit, indeed, is the essence of the music produced by this new musical offering. Bradigan’s five members include three cousins and Dover natives Patrick Boyle, Tyler Foss and Kimberly Starling, as well as area musical veteran Patricia O’Brien and Ben Baker.

With many years’ combined experience in performing both original and traditional Irish, Scottish and other folk music, Bradigan creates a musical force both powerful and beautiful any time they take the stage, be it at a festival, special event, pub, session or private function.
